Heatwave!

It has been really hot here in the bay area this week... There is a heatwave, and it reached high 90F on Monday and 104F yesterday!! It's supposed to be a bit cooler today(highs around 90F, still hot though.)

So yesterday, expecting my apartment will be inhabitable, I drove with my husband to his work. I went to see my friend, had lunch with my husband, went window-shopping to the antique stores in the area, stayed at scrapbook store in Fremont, and then drove back to home with my husband. I stayed mostly in air conditioned place, so it was great!

Although, when we came back to the apartment, it was still pretty hot and heat didn't go away until this early morning... The heatwave seems harsher since we are so used to mild and cooler-than-usual summer...

Anyway, here are some pics I took in Niles in Fremont. Niles is famous for antique stores.




Beautiful sawing machine!


I was looking for some mug cups and big dishes, but I didn't see anything I liked looking-wise and price-wise. Well, maybe I didn't look closely enough, because it was very hot(the car showed 103F!). It was still lot of fun to look for good deals and cute stuff!

At scrapbooking store(ScrapbookU), when their class room is not reserved or used, they let people use it for free! It's very generous. In their big classroom, I made this layout using Inspired Blueprints sketch#26


I used bits of leftover papers from classes and previous projects. Eco-friendly!



The photos are from our trip to Yosemite NP in June when we climbed the top of Yosemite Falls. I would like to go back there again!

It's around 11am here and getting pretty hot. After blogging, I might go to the library or something to stay cool...

　暑いです！！
　冷夏に慣れきった体に、いきなりの熱波です。
　月曜日34度くらい、火曜日38度。多分40度行ってたでしょう。。
　今日、水曜日は33度くらいまでしか上がらないようですが。。。湿気がない分、断然日本よりすごしやすい！と、今年の日本の夏を経験した友人は言っていますが。天然サウナも慣れない体にはこたえます～＞＜

　そんなわけで昨日は、夫と一緒に会社まで行き、午前中は友達に会い、おうちのわんこや子どもと遊び。ランチを夫と食べた後、アンティーク街をうろつき、SB屋さんのクラスルームで一人クロップし、夫と一緒に夜になってから帰宅、と、極力、在宅をさけていました。
　クーラーがないので、ちょっとね。干からびますからね・・・（＾＾；；

　アンティーク街、色々と可愛いものはあったのですが、なにせ高い。詳しい友人いわく、ややオーバープライス気味だそうで。見るだけでしたが、可愛かったので、それなりに楽しかったです。
　
　スクラップブック屋さんでは、クーラーがんがん効いた所で、見開きレイアウトを完成させました♪もう写真もペーパーもほぼ決めていたので、貼るだけだったんですけどね。ジャーナルまで、全て完成させられたので、達成感がありました！
　
　ペーパーは、クラスや他のプロジェクトで余ったあれこれを、細々と使っています。主にBo-Bunny。ボーダーのペーパーはWe Rです。スケッチは、Inspired Blueprintsの#26です。
　
　写真は6月に行ったヨセミテのもの。ヨセミテフォールズの頂上で撮った写真たちです。トレイルの最後の方は、ほぼ垂直な崖に作られた細い階段を進むのですが。高所恐怖症の夫は、ここへ来てギブ（笑）仕方ないので、一人で楽しみました♪絶景でした！でもなかなか写真には納まらないのが、残念。

　さてさて11時。。タイプする指先にも汗をかき始めました（苦笑）
　何かおなかに入れたら図書館でも行ってみようと思います～

IB#4-double page layout

It has been really cold summer here in the bayarea... This morning, it was only 55F, breezy, foggy and cloudy... brrrrr....

This layout is with photos from one of rare hot weekend in this summer. Hiking to the top of the Yosemite falls! The sketch is based on Inspired Blueprints sketch#4.




It was a strenuous difficult hike, but very rewarding. The falls were big, and occasionally the wind blew cold water and splashed on us which helped and encouraged us quite a bit!

　
　日本では猛暑のようですが、ベイエリアは冷夏です。。。
　今朝も起きたら、10度ほどしか気温がなく、ベランダに出たら風もあって、晩秋のような冷え込み。霧もすごいので、霧が晴れる10時ごろまではこのくらいの気温のままでしょう。。霧が晴れても、20度を超えないですからね。まったく夏を感じられません（;_;
　
　そんな冷夏の中、作ったのは、真夏のレイアウト（笑）。ヨセミテでヨセミテフォールズの上までハイキングした時の写真です（6月末）。ヨセミテは、私たちの住んでいるエリアよりだいぶ内陸にあるので、昼間はかなり暑くなります。この日も25度超えてたんじゃないかな。

　冬の長雨のおかげで水量がかなり多かったヨセミテフォールズ。かなり急勾配のトレイルでしたが、風で滝の水が飛んできたり、日陰も多かったので、何とか登りきれました。楽しかった♪

　あ、このレイアウトは久しぶりにInspired Blueprintsのスケッチを使っています。かなり昔のです。使っているペーパーも2005年に発売されたWe Rのもの。割引されてて買ったものの、ず～っと眠ってたのを、やっと使いました。使わないとね。もう収納スペースがないもんだから・・・（＞＜

IB#43-U-pick

For the first time in a while, I made a layout based on a sketch from Inspired Blueprints.
The photos are from our short trip to Brentwood in January. We picked a full bucketful of Mikan(Mandarin oranges)! It took us a while to finished all of them, but proudly we didn't waste any!

　ほぼLittle Yellow Bicycleで作りました～～　エミーさんのベーシックコースで頂いたペーパー、この写真に合わせようと思ってもらったのに、放置してしまってたので。。
　それから先日購入したCor'dinationのエンボスされたペーパー。Cosmo Cricketのパターンです。タイトル部分に早速、使ってみました！

　こういうパステルというか、ゆる～い色は、実はちょっと苦手かも？と思ったのですが、今回は小さいし、あまり気になりませんでした。どんな色でも合わせやすいから、逆にいいのかな？？やすりするのは、裏からでも表からでも、それぞれ違った感じになって面白い！あとやすりがけのほこりが嫌な場合は、アクリルとかインクで汚してもOKでした～～
　まだまだ遊べそうなこのペーパー！コスモの2種類、買ってしまったので、いっぱい使わなきゃ～～！

IB#32-CREATE

　It's getting very cool here in the bayarea. Halloween is coming up this weekend, daylight saving ends in the same weekend, November passes quickly and then December... They year of 2009 is almost over!! I cannot believe!

　Anyway, this is my layout based on Inspired Blueprints sketch#32. These are the photos of my husband modifying the legs of his desk with plastic pipes. It used to be sit-on-floor desk, but now we can use it with chair! Usually, I don't get too excited when he works on this kind of stuff at home, because it makes a mess, I can't play with him, and I'm the one who has to clean up. However, this time, I really appreciate his work not only because it's more comfortable, but also easier for me to clean underneath it!
It's kind of unusual thing... so I made this layout :)

　あーっという間に10月も終わりつつありますね～～やっとIBのスケッチ32を完成させれました。今月のIBは1周年記念で、スケッチが4つ（？）公開されました。どれも可愛くて、チャレンジしたかったんですけど・・・余裕無く、うーーん、これで今月はオシマイかなぁ。。。週末はハロウィーンですしね。←子どもいないので、あまり関係ないっちゃないんですが。。

　レイアウトは、夫が独身時代に手作りしたデスク、床に座って使うタイプだったのを、パイプを使って椅子に座って使えるよう、改造した写真です。だいたい何かを作り始めると、完成まで、結構時間がかかる旦那。その間、私は放っておかれるし、散らかるし、片付けしないので、あまり嬉しくないのですが。。。これは割とさくっと改造が終わり、終わってみると使いやすいし、掃除はしやすいし。良かったです（＾＾）
　ってことで記念に作りました～もうちょっと写真を下のほうに貼ればよかったのだけど。離れて見ないで作ったので、ちょっとバランスが悪くなってしまいました。。でもお気に入りのスタンプを使ったりして、楽しく作れました♪

Long time no see!

It's has been a quite while since I posted last time.  I don't know why I didn't have time to write.... I don't think I was particuraly busy or anything like that.  One thing I know, though, is that I started excising at home, such as pilatis and Wii fit, and it takes up some time.  I cannot accomodete it well, so if I have to choose to drop  one of them, housework,  scrapbooking , or blogging, well, you know what is chosen.

Anyway,  here is some of my layout I made recently.
"traveler" was made with my favorite photo of Delicate Arch and a complete stranger!  I like the lighting of the photo.

This one is based on Inspired Blueprints sketch#31.  I used the photo of myself heading for Narrows at Zion National Park.  I was ready for explore and luckly, didn't know what was waiting!  It was very very hard hiking.  I should finish my Utah trip entries....:-(

This one "Back to Nature" is also inspired by IB sketch#30.  The photos are from our hiking to Droid Arch in Canyonlands NP.  I don't know why, but it took me a long time to finish this layout.  It was sitting on my desk more than a week...  I was finally able to finish when I cropped at my teacher's home, Emi-san.  Her work is very inspirng and she is so much fun to be with.  I'm very lucky to live in the same area as she does!!

　久し振りの投稿です～～特に忙しかったとかいう訳ではないのですが（＾＾；ユタ旅行の前から、ピラティスやWii fitの筋トレを自宅でやってまして。それが毎日1-2時間。家事、スクラップ、ブログ、エクササイズの中で、ついついブログが後回しに。。まぁそのうち上手く時間を切り回せるようになるでしょう。旅行前に鍛えたかっただけなのだけど、かなり筋肉がついてきて、エクササイズは辞められない～～（＾＾；


　最近作ったレイアウトは上の３つ。どれもユタ旅行から。今年作ったレイアウトを見返していると、やっぱり自分たち自身についてが、すごく少ない。。（汗）やっぱり家族の記録をしっかり残したいので、旅行分とか気合入れて頑張りたいと思いました～～。


　ちょこっと各レイアウトについて。「traveler」は、アーチーズNPのデリケートアーチで撮った写真を使いました。逆光で写ってる人は、知らない人。。でも光加減とかお気に入りの一枚です♪


　「Ready to explore」は、ザイオンNPです。まだ全然、旅行記でも追いついてない。。ナローズといわれるエリアで、川を上流に歩いていくのですが。。。ちょーーーーしんどかった～～～！！！この写真の時点は、出発点なので、元気いっぱいでした。何も知らず、のんきなもんでした。。Cosmo CricketのEarth Love、可愛いですよね♪やっと使えました！


　「Back to Nature」、これはキャニオンランズ、ニードルズエリアの写真です。いやぁこのレイアウト、1週間以上、机の上に放置されて、全然、進まなかったんです・・（汗）　エミーさんちでのクロップで、やっと終わりました！ブレイクスルーは、needlesに使ったスタンプ！！エミーさんの所で借りたのですが、エミーさんも「誰かにもらった気がする？」と仰ってて、メーカーとか不明です。フォントもカッコイイし、大きさも丁度良いので、見つけたら是非買いたいスタンプになりました。


　短くても良いので、ちょこちょこアップするように頑張ります～！今更ながら、毎日ブログアップとかされてる人ってすげーと思いました。。

　Inspiredd Blueprintsのスケッチ#29を使ったレイアウトです。久し振りの12インチ♪
　ユタ旅行の写真を使い、BazzilのKraftペーパーにグリマーミストでチョウチョをスプレー。ちょっとペーパーが濃い色だったので、色が曖昧になっちゃった・・でもBazzilのペーパーは、あまりうねらないのが良いです。

　ちなみにこのレイアウト、先週土曜日のエミーさん宅でのクロップパーティーで完成させました。久しぶりのエミーさんのスタジオは、日本でクラスをされたものなど、作品がいっぱい～～♪ナマで見せて頂いて、素敵で感動でした～～

S×S＃15&IB#27～summer '09

I'm getting busy this week for our upcoming trip to Utah! We are driving all the way to Utah and will stop several national parks such as Arches, Canyon lands, Capitol Reef, Bryce Canyon and Zion! It's a 2weeks of trip and we will be camping most of the nights. How exciting!

Anyway, before I go, I wanted to post this layout that I made for Scrap*Scrap challenge #15 based on Inspired Blueprints sketch#27. For Scrap*Scrap challenge, the layout is supposed to have

The photo is from our vacation in Oregon with my husband parents. On the last day of our stay, we took a photo together. It was a very nice stay with perfect weather. I wanted to express peaceful and loving feeling in a beautiful sunset. So I used Glimmer Mist to make blue sky and sunset feeling.

I glued magic mesh on a unnecessary pieces of Heidi Swapp Ghost Alphabets to make clear water/sky feeling. The butterfly was accommodate on one of the piece.

I'm glad I was able to finish this layout. I love this sketch!!

　
　土曜日からユタへ2週間のドライブ旅行に行きます♪半分キャンプ、半分モーテル泊まり。今週は、買出しやらおかず作りやら掃除やら、、でも何とかScrap×Scrapのチャレンジ#15を終わらせられました♪今月のお題は、
１、夏にちなんでレイアウトのどこかに青（水色でも可）を取り入れる

２、マジックメッシュを使う（お持ちでない方はそれに見立てたもの）

３、バタフライ（蝶）のモチーフを使う・・・はっしーさんより

　今回の写真は、オレゴンに行った時、旦那両親と最終日にデックでゆったりしている時に撮ったもの。天気が爽やかでとても気持ち良くて、「夏」「澄んだ感じ」「青空」を表したくて、グリマーミストのJazz Blueを使いました。また写真マットの部分には、「夕焼け」を表したかったので、Sun flowerとPink Bubblegumを使って色づけ。全体的に爽やかで、ゆったり平和な感じを表せたかな、と思っています。旦那の実家に行くと、たいていこんな感じ（＾＾

　それから、マジックメッシュとゴーストアルファベットの不要部分（dの中とか）を使って、雲のような水滴のような、を作ってます。ラブオンを貼って蝶を登場させてます♪夏と蝶ってので、ちょっと無理してる気がしないでもないですが。。
　
　写真自体がちょっと暗めだったのですが、お気に入りの一枚です。Pink Paisleeのおうちのラブオンの言葉も気に入っています♪

　あ、スケッチは、Inspeired BlueprintsのSketch#27を使わせてもらっています。これ、すごい可愛いスケッチですよね～～作れて良かった！

IB#21～Beauty & PL#136-Early Bird

　ちょこちょこレイアウト、作ってたんですが、昼間に写真をとるタイミングを逃して、アップしてませんでした。
　
　まずは、IB21．早く出したかったのに、結局、間に合わず。テンプレートを使って、Distress Inkでパターンをつけてます。



　ベランダのバラたち。この開花時期までは、対アブラムシに牛乳スプレーをしていたのですが、ほぼ一掃を機に、市販のスプレーを使い始めました。そしたらーーー！！！見る見る、枯れてく！！！！1週間ほどで、蕾はそのまま枯れ、葉はほとんどが茶色に。。
　
　最初、原因が分からず、えーー？？っと半泣きだったのですが、しばらくスプレーせず、水をスプレーしてたら、少しずつ回復してきて。。葉っぱも新芽が出始めました。どうやら、市販のスプレーだダメだったよう。うぎー、悔しい。今は徐々に回復してきて、結局、牛乳スプレーでアブラムシと戦う日々です。

　ペーパーは、My Minds Eyeです。体調不良で、あまり考えずに作った物ですが、それなりに気に入ってます。

　それから、こっちはPL#136。これもペーパーまでは決まってたんだけど、締切りまでには、完成させれず。残念。先日のイチゴ狩りの写真です。

　一番下のバックグラウンドのペーパーは、ふちにGessoを塗り、Distress InkをInk Application Toolでつけました。水彩ペイントみたいな効果で面白い！ペーパーに直にDistressするのとは、違う雰囲気になりました。
　
　Gessoは、先日、Dona Downyさんのクラスの持ち物リストにあったアイテム。なんじゃらほい？と思って、お店の人に聞くと、「えーっとねぇ（説明を読んでいる）、、あ、いわゆるプライマー（Primer）よ。壁をペイントするのに使ったりするでしょ」。　パードン？？そのプライマーがワカリマセンよ。一般的日本人は、壁を自らペイントなんてしませんのよ。
　でも突っ込んで聞けず、結局、何かよく分からないけど購入。後で旦那に聞くと、「何かをペイントする前に塗って、ペイントがひっつきやすくするものだよ」と。ふーーーん。なるほど、だから、Distress　Inkがするーって良く伸びるのですね。化粧下地とファンデみたいな関係かな。

　タグは、適当にグリマーミストで作ってます。Timのグランジボードからチョウチョと草っぽい形を、テンプレート代わりに使いました。最近、エミーさんや他の方のブログで、グリマーミストを使ってるのを、よく見かけるので。。ついつい。手持ちは7色ですが、やっぱりどんどん色が欲しくなる・・・黄緑、ピンク、オレンジ、青。この辺が次のねらい目です♪

IB#22～HAPPY OR GRUMPY

　Here is my take on Inspired Blueprints Sketch#22. My husband and I were invited for BBQ dinner at my friend's place. It was first time for my husband to hold their newborn baby(5months old). The baby girl is very cute and precious, and seemed happy to be held by him, so he enjoyed holding her for a while... then, he got tired! She wanted him to stand up, but he just didn't want to. It was a fun and great night! I wonder what kind of father he will be...

　IB#22のスケッチを基にしたレイアウトです♪友人宅でBBQをしてもらった時、友人の5ヶ月になる赤ちゃんをダッコしてる旦那。最初は、二人ともご機嫌だったんですけどね～～私がダッコしようとしても、譲ってくれないくらい（＾＾；。でもそのうち、赤ちゃんは、立ってダッコしてほしいのに、旦那が座ったままなので、ご機嫌ナナメに。。。笑

　いつものように人さまのお子さんなので、表情を出せませんが、可愛らしかったです。

　久しぶりにJack's World全開で作っりました～！春らしいし、子どもっぽい感じで、大好きなラインだけど、使う機会が限られてしまって、、でも、今回の写真には、ぴったりの雰囲気だったので、たくさん使えて嬉しい♪

　そういえば、Cosmoのリンジーが、ブラックボードは大ヒットでは無かった、と言ってましたが、私は大好きです。何か困ったら、すぐ使っちゃう。もう作らないのだとしたら、とっても残念。

IB#20 - Be Happy Be Yourself

I've been enjoying the beautiful summer here in the bay area. It's time for drinking?! For last weekend, we enjoyed BBQ on Saturday and garden dinner on Sunday. It's fun to eat and drink outside.... no time to crop?! I need to learn how to manage my time more efficiently!

Anyway, this is my take on Inspired Blueprints sketch#20.

The girls are my friends' daughters again(and as usual), so I'm sorry that I had to burred. They had really interesting expressions... one was very happy to wear her mom's sunglasses and the other was a bit unhappy because she was sleepy. They were so precious and inspires me a lot!


　また一週間近く、更新してませんでしたー　すっかり夏らしい季節で忙しいです（？！）ビールが旨い♪
先週末は連続でお呼ばれし、土曜はBBQ、日曜はお庭でディナー！あ、でも日曜は、ご飯担当だったので、チリコンカン、カブの葉と大根炒め、カブとベーコンのポトフ（かな？）、ゴボウサラダと、頑張って作りました～（←決してタダ食べていたのではナイ）　で、たっぷりビール、ワイン、日本酒、デザートワインをご馳走に。爽やかなお天気なので、外で食べると、食がますます進みます。やばっ！

　ところで、IB＃２０のスケッチを使ったレイアウトです。IBのデザインチームメンバーのYasuさんのスケッチ♪先月末の締切りには間に合いませんでしたが。。お友達の子どもたちで、夏らしいレイアウトにしてみました～　厳密には、4月だったし、春でしたが（＾＾；

　今回は、ハンブリーのオーバーレイ（日本のスクラッパーさんは上手に使ってらっしゃいますよねぇ♪）、私はいまいち、使い方が分からず。。今回、初めて大胆に使いました。透明のボタンと一緒に使って、爽やかになったかなぁと自己満足。結構、お高めなのに、使わないと勿体無い。。活用しなくちゃ！


【SB的小話】
・スキャロップ型と丸の形は、テンプレートを使ってチョキチョキ。
・丸型の周りのペーパーには、フリーハンドで、ぐるぐる線を。写真が目立つかな、と思って。
・ペーパーと写真は全て、黒のインクで細く縁取り。境界がはっきりするように。
・丸の写真は、ポップアップさせてます。
・ボタンは、グロッシーアクセントで、オーバーレイ上のペーパーはKokuyo Dot n Rollerで、接着。

IB #18 1 2 3; steps to be cuties

Oh my... time flies! It the end of April. I couldn't catch up with Inspired Blueprints Sketch Bonanza at all! They had 8 sketches this month, but this one, sketch #18, was only one I could finish.

I used photos of my friends' girls who are trying to do what the other was doing. They were very cute!


　あっという間に、4月末。今月は、全然チャレンジものが出来ず。。特にInspiered Blueprintsは、8個もスケッチを公開していて、複数、やりたかったんですけど。。写真も用意していたのですが、作る時間がありませんでした～！無念。。

　Sketch１８だけ、何とか完成させられたので、あげておきます。いつものようにヒトサマのお子様二人。。相方がやろうとすることを、真似する他方。可愛すぎです。

　今回は、いつもより、色んなメーカーのペーパーやエンベリが混ざってます。コスモのGirl Fridayを使いたかったのですが、ペーパーが1種しか手元に無かったので。。マイケルズで買った初めてCOLORBOK、使ってみました。安かったんです、このペーパー。。。（笑）　だから低予算でも買えたんですね！　最近、SassafrasやSEIのペーパーストックみたいなのも、置いてある量販店マイケルズ。ローカルな個人専門店に対抗してるんでしょうね。負けるな、ローカルストア！と心は応援しているのですが、つい、安いマイケルズに足が向くんだよなぁ････

Inspired Blueprints Sketch#12 - a trip to remember

This is my take on Inspired Blueprints Sketch#12.
The photos used are from our last trip to Yosemite! Oh yes, we love Yosemite. The hike to Yosemite Falls was awesome, but it's difficult to capture the beauty of nature... and even more difficult to put in a layout!

I cut out some parts of the paper so that you can see its beautiful pattern. I particularly like the yellow butterfly :-)



I painted a bit in order to highlight the title sticker.


　目指せ、さくさくスクラッパー！週末にコツコツやってました。まずはIB　Sketch12への投稿分です。
　見てのとおり、前回のヨセミテの写真です。スケッチ見たときから、ヨセミテの写真で行こう！と決めてました♪　が。やっぱり大自然の美しさを、そもそも写真に収めるのが難しいです。。しかもレイアウトに。。。しかし自分の写真は、ヨセミテが大多数。精進あるのみです！

　今回、珍しくアクリルペイント使ったり、ペーパーを切り抜いたりして使いました。今まで面倒くさくてさぼってたんですけど（＾＾；　やっぱりひと手間かけると違うかな？見た目はとにかく、愛着は増しました～。
　コスモのEver After、結婚式系をあえてアウトドア。うーん、どうでしょう？？

Inspired Blueprints Sketch#11 - Bay-bee

It has been cold, but we are getting plenty of sunshine these days! Spring is coming soon ;-)

This is my take on Inspired Blueprints sketch#11.

I used my friend's girl looking wonderingly at another friend's baby-boy. She just turned to be 2years, so cannot pronounce Baby quite right. I wanted to express that cute pronunciation with this title :-)

I don't like sewing, either hand or machine, but I wanted to try sewing on paper, since I've seen some scrapper's really neat sewing and stitching work on their layouts. Anyway, I hand-sewed ribbon on the felts and a photo on the yellow felt.



It turned out.... well, not super great, but gave a some new look on my layout. So it was worth trying. Will I do it again? Humm.. I need to think about it.



When I first saw Cosmo Cricket new lineup, Girl Friday, I thought it was too cute and won't go well with my photos, but actually, it was not true! It is cute, but not too sweet. I got some papers, but the stores in my area haven't got embellishments yet. I'm looking forward to playing with them more!

It was a lot of fun as usual, thank you for the great sketch, IB people!


　こちらはここ数日、寒い日々が続いてますが、お天気は良く、春が近づいているのを感じます♪先週はかなり雨ばっかりだったので、嬉しい限り！もうちょっと暖かくなったら、友達たちと公園やピクニックに行きたいね～なんて話してます（＾＾）　
　
　さてさてまたチャレンジブログへの投稿分のレイアウト。スケッチがあるとやっぱり楽で。最近、こういうのしか作ってないぞ。。汗。

　今回は、DAISOで買ったフェルトとタオル地のお花を使ってみましたー　苦手な裁縫にも挑戦。そして撃沈。まぁやってみる作業自体は、楽しかったけど、やっぱり思い通りにはいかないや。。難しいですね。

　友達の子どもが、別の友達の子どもを見て、不思議そうに「ベイビ？」って言ってる、舌足らずな感じ。。それを出したくて、変なスペルの英語にしてみたのですが。。雰囲気、伝わるかなぁ。

　コスモクリケットのGirl Friday、カワイすぎるかと思って、敬遠してたのですが、意外とそうでもないですね！日本の通販なんかではじゃんじゃん売れてるようですが、なぜか私のエリアのSB屋さんにはまだペーパーしか入ってきておらず。。早くエンベリも試したい～！！！新ブラックボードも！！来週には、こちらで開催されるScrapbook Expoなるものに行くので、、そこでゲットできたらいいな。

Happy Campers-キャンプの写真で♪

I've already uploaded my take on IB Sketch#9, but I felt like to make another one to match it. So this is another layout based on the same sketch.

The photos are taken during the same trip to Yosemite NP, but these ones are from Campsite. I love campfire... so warm and relaxing... but little difficult to capture!

　Inspired Blueprintsのスケッチ＃９は、既にアップしたのですが、旦那にペアのページは作るの？と聞かれて以来、気になってたので。
　同じスケッチを元に、見開きになるようにページを作ってみました。

　なんかバランスが。。。むーーーーー・・・・・
　
　でもま、いっか。　楽しければいいやっ！と、いい加減、悩むのに疲れたので、次にいきます（笑）
　今はバレンタインに向けて作ってるものがあるのです～♪

　旦那へのサプライズプレゼントですが、完全シークレットでやると、絶対バレンタインを忘れられるので、何を作っているかは言わず、あえて見える所で作業中。喜んでくれるかな～♪

I used photos from our last trip to Yosemite NP in September... I have some more photos from the same trip, but A LOT more from previous trips.... Oh, boy. I'm running out of ideas how to put them together, because the photos look somowhat same.... ;-(


しばらくぶりのブログ更新です。
なんだかんだ先週はバタバタしてたら、ほっとんどチャレンジも出来ず。。
2月1個目は、Inspired Blueprints のSketch #9から！

チャレンジをホストする所によって、レイアウトをメールしたり、ギャラリーにアップしたり、リンクを貼ったり。それぞれ違うので、いちいち読んでやっていくのが大変です。IBはちゃんと出来てるのかな。不安。

今回の写真は、前回のヨセミテの写真です。
前回で5回目…？

壮大な風景をうまくレイアウトに取り込みたいのですが、毎回毎回、同じようなパターンから抜け出せない>_<　でも今回のは、フェルトのお花に、隠しジャーナル。リボンの具合がお気に入りです。 見開きにしようかと思ったのだけど、、、どうなるかな。 本当は、Scrap×Scrapのチャレンジするつもりで、写真を探してたのですが、途中でギブアップ。。んーー今週中には何とか？！
