で、プレゼントオープン～～！私からのと、旦那両親からのがあります。私は夫リクエストの本、私オススメの本、カジュアルなTシャツ。両親からは、コットンパンツ、カレンダー、ギフトカードなど。
ケーキは、コリアン系ベーカリーのパリスバゲットで買いました。小さめホールとショートケーキ4個を比べて、安い方をチョイス。。主婦です。ま、その方が色々食べれるし～♪
この日食べたのは、マンゴームースとフルーツムース。翌日は、いちごショートケーキとコーヒーケーキ。ショートケーキのスポンジがふわふわでおいしかった～♪♪
私がチョイスしたのは、宮部みゆきの「ブレイブストーリー」。子供向けですが、何度読んでも、泣いちゃう～～～！大好きなので、旦那にも読んでもらいたく。しっかし、分厚さにびっくりしました。。。（汗
Last Friday, we celebrated my husband's birthday! We ate dinner, opened present, and ate a cake! It was simple, but good birthday. I was very glad to be with him!
He got some books and T shirts from me and some pants, candies, calender, and gift card from his parents. Of course, he was very happy.
We had some cakes from Korean bakery in Santa Clara. Their cakes were very good! They reminded me of Japanese sweets... not too sweet, delicate, not too big!
One of the books I got for him was by a Japanese novelist, Miyuki Miyabe "Brave Story". It's a fantasy like Lord of the Rings, and it's really good. I've read it in Japanese many times already, but still every time when I read it, I cry. So I thought it would be wonderful if I could share it with my husband.
Anyway, when I received it from Amazon, I was surprised by its volume.. It's super thick..well, just like Lord of the rings, again.
Sometimes when Japanese novels are translated, they loose its original atmosphere, but this one didn't. I even enjoy reading it with him.
