Happy baby shower!

　ああ、また久し振りのブログです。。
　先週金曜日、5月に出産予定の友達のベビーシャワーをしました♪ベビーシャワーは、出産が間近に迫った妊婦さんのために、仲の良い友人たちや親戚が企画するちょっとしたパーティー。プレゼントを用意したり、妊娠・出産にまつわるゲームをしたりします。結婚前の花嫁にしてあげる「Bridal shower」と同じ考え方です。

　二人目ということで、シンプルで出来るだけ実用的に！というコンセプトの今回。飾りつけやバルーンよりも、プレゼントに予算を割いて、ダイパーケーキ（オムツで作ったケーキ！）も控えめ。


　
　でもおなか周りのサイズあてクイズ、哺乳瓶に何個キャンディは入る？クイズなど、盛り上がりました♪
　元気な赤ちゃんが生まれることを祈ってます（＾＾）

　I went to a baby shower for my friend whose baby is expected in May. It was a lot of fun! I helped to make a diaper cake shown above. This is kind of simple version, but still super cute, isn't it? You can decorate it with toys and towels if you want, depending on the budget. Things were kept kind of simple this time, so that we can spare more for the gifts.
