Love My Memories #11 Release Party!

My scrapbooking teacher/friend, Emi-san, is the chief editor of the most popular scrapbook magazine in Japan. The new volume was released recently in Japan, so she decided to host a party in San Jose, too! This was actually the 3rd time for her to host the release party in San Jose, but this time, she did it at a scrapbooking store in her neighborhood, Scrapbook Island(The one I often go). I was one of the three staffs at the party!

They have a really spacious classroom area. We displayed Emi-san's magazines and some of her and her students works:-)

In the morning, it was not too busy, so I finished making this minibook which comes with the magazine.


It went pretty well! We got busier later on. People are making the same minibook as I made.


Toward the end, it got less busy, so I enjoyed shopping as well... It was a fun party! Thanks, Emi-san!!

　先週土曜日、ラブメモ11号発売を記念してのリリースパーティーがサンホゼでも行われました～♪もちろん、主催はエミーさん。太っ腹なエミーさんは、お菓子やケーキやドリンクだけでなく、抽選会も用意してくれました。素敵すぎ。私は一応、お手伝いで参加してましたが、何したっけ・・・（汗）チラシを日系スーパーに貼ってもらったりはしましたが。。当日はお客さんは何時に来てもOKだったので、結構ばらけてて、ゆったりだったんですよね。レジの会計も、お店だったし。

　って訳で、午前中の手の空いた時間に私もミニブック作成～～♪簡単でカワイイ！！お昼前から昼過ぎくらいが一番忙しかったかな？それでもエミーさん+スタッフ3人だったんで、余裕ありました。2時ごろを過ぎると、数人の親しい方しかいなかったので、ちゃっかりお買い物もしました♪CHAの新作が沢山、入荷されてて、欲しいものがい～～っぱい！！パーティーに来てくださった方々も、お買い物も楽しまれてました（＾＾）

　お店の様子を撮るのを忘れちゃいましたが、、、写真の通り、クラスルームエリアはかなり広いです！20人くらいは一度にクラス出来ちゃいそうです。お店のエリアも同じくらいか、それよりちょっと大きいくらいかな。本当、目移りしちゃっう可愛さ＆品揃え。
　
　うちからは車で45分くらいかかってしまうので、ちょっと遠いですが。エミーさんの自宅は、このお店から5分くらい？たいていホームクラスを受けたら、お買い物もしていきます☆

　あ～～楽しい一日だった！
